Hi, my name is Sera. I've been a caregiver for more then 15yrs. I grew up in an adult family home since my mom was a caregiver, before she became a registered nurse. I assist clients with ALL daily living tasks. I've also worked with clients who needed different kinds of Hoyer lifts. I can assist with various methods of manual transfer with clients up to 250lbs. I've also been transport to appointments.(social, medical or otherwise). The last 4 years I've been working at a assisted living home with 9 clients in different stages of Dementia. And various forms of special needs or mental disabilities. Working there really helped me to appreciate more the kind of special care folks with dementia need. I also assisted with Hospice. I've taken many classes to keep me up to date with all different aspects of caring for a client. My goal is to help any of my clients enjoy their lives and to live comfortably and happily despite health or physical limitations. I'm also available for 24hr care.
