Passionate and dedicated pet caretaker with 4+ years of experience. 4 dogs and 1 cat of my own. I feel pets are family and deserve the same love and care anyone would get. During college, I helped with 2 dogs (separate times) with 3 litters of puppies. One had a litter of 11 and 14, and the other had a litter of 8. During this time, I stopped in daily to weigh, feed, and care for the newborn puppies until finding some loving homes. I have sat for owners in their own homes, drop by visits, and overnight stays. During which, I provided care to their pets with walks, feedings, and physical activities. Currently, I own an 11-year-old Cavalier King Charles. I administer his daily medications 2x a day, take him out as frequently as I can when home, and take him to monthly appointments. I do know and understand the care and attention needed for older or recovering dogs. Strengths include adaptability, patience, and empathy.
