I have taken courses on special education at the University of Florida, I am considering specializing in special education (major is elementary education), I currently work with a child that has Aspergers syndrome and she is one of the most amazing kids I have ever met in my life. It has helped me get more interested in helping children who may have autism or another condition. I am patient and have listening ears, which are key!
