About Selena

I have 5 years of experience working with children ages 5-12 in a community after-school program, and have taken care of younger children in a family capacity. I take a kinder and gentler approach to behavioral struggles, and offer space and care for little ones with big emotions. I like offering activities before screentime, but I'm comfortable with using iPads and TV time too. I'm a psychology undergrad in my last year, so I have prior knowledge of child development, but my focus is counseling psychology. I love to use my background to help inform how I respond to children's emotional needs, and make sure they always feel cared for. I'm also open to more flexibility in my availability, so please let me know what you're looking for!
