About Selena

I am the oldest with 3 brothers have many cousins, been basically babysitting my whole life. I started working at a daycare when I was 16 and moved up from assistant to teacher in the preschool room and assistant Director of the whole center. I was trying to figure out what to do after high school started in education route. And then decided I did love kids and wanna work with them but more in the medical field. So I am currently in an RN program about halfway done and want to move on and do pediatrics one day. I am CPR and first aid certified. I do not smoke. I have my own good working vehicle. I have an associate degree in child development and from my experience at the preschool have learned a lot of effective ways of communicating with children, handling those big emotions and behaviors, and also how to come with activities that will not only keep them interested, but also to be physically, emotionally and educationally enriching.
