About Savannah

I'm a passionate and caring individual who has a deep passion for providing safe and encouraging spaces for children to learn and grow. I have a long history involved with childcare beginning with my first babysitting course at 13 and continuing to become a toddler teacher at a nonprofit at 20. I have experience with meeting childhood milestones and preparing lesson plans with appropriate activities based on developmental needs. I love creating themed lesson plans around holidays, cultural events, seasons, etc. I believe the best way to understand children is to try and see the world through their eyes. I love creating spaces for children to share how they see the world around them whether that be by joining their imaginary world or sitting on the floor with them and literally being on their physical level. I want children to know that I will meet them where they are at! I would love to get to know you and your family and brainstorm the best care for your child and their needs!
