About Savannah

Hi! My name is Savannah I'm a 20-year-old caregiver with 4 years of experience working with children through the YMCA's before/after school program and summers at Camp Sargent. My passion for childcare began with my own family-I'm an aunt to three nieces and two nephews, and I've loved being part of their lives as they grow. I'm CPR, First Aid, and Water Safety certified. I enjoy planning fun, creative activities like STEM projects, arts and crafts, and sensory play. I'm dependable, organized, and flexible with scheduling, and I always aim to create a safe, positive space for kids. In tough moments, I use calm strategies like deep breathing, stress toys, or drawing to help children work through emotions. I believe in kindness, patience, and consistency.
