Hi parents! My name is Savannah! My experience with childcare began when I was 16 years old when I started babysitting one of our neighbor's children that had autism. Later down the road, I worked at a party center where I would organize and supervise parties, This was a very hands on experience as I would lead the group of kids into doing different activities throughout the party. This helped my ability of understanding how to approach children with all kinds of different personalities, temperaments, and backgrounds. Now, I am working with ABS kids a company that treats autistic children with the purpose of increasing their personal functionality and be more independent as people. I have been working with them for over a year and I have been able to earn my certificate as a behavioral technician with the state of North Carolina. I have developed very strong relationships with my patients, but most importantly, I am enjoying and learning

Savannah worked for us for 2 years. She is hands-down the best nanny we have ever met. While working for us, we constantly had friends asking us for her number and telling us how lucky we were to have her! We hired Savannah initially for a part time job but she was such an asset to our household that we ended up giving her full time hours when her availability opened up and it was 1000% worth it, just to keep her. Savannah has a bubbly personality and is really creative with the kids. She is the type of nanny that will get down on the floor to play pretend, dance around the room when the kids want a dance party, and go (with all of us) on adventurous after-dark flashlight walks with the stroller when it gets dark out super early. She never forgets to pack a bag with snacks and water bottles when leaving the house with the kids. And, on more than one occasion, she came to work with her own books and games to play with the kids. Savannah was our sitter while I was pregnant and she naturally stepped into caring for a newborn and a toddler at the same time. She also helped us with household tasks and kept up with our high standards of cleanliness and organization for the house. She was also accommodating when we switched to a payroll system. She was reliable, punctual, and a great communicator. She made sure we were always on the same page about scheduling and never missed a text from us. Truly, we can’t say enough good things about Savannah. We only wish she still had the time to work for us but we wish her the best as she is now spending her time working primarily as a BCBA.
