I have worked for over 8 years as a nanny and caregiver to both adults and children with behavioral, medical, and cognitive special needs. I am trained in collaborative problem solving, nonviolent communication, and person centered advocacy. Additionally I have experience with medical equipment including G-tubes/ feeding tubes, suction machines, cough vests, electric wheel chairs, and more. I am also CPR/FIRST Aid Certified and have certifications in medication administration and more. I started my career working with a child with behavioral and mental health needs then went on to serve as a caregiver and administrator for college students with disabilities. For the past two years I have managed a state ran behavioral group home for adults with coexisting mental health diagnosis and intellectual and/or medical disabilities. I am compassionate and have a calling to serve those in need. I just relocated to the Denver area and am looking for my next opportunity.
