I have 10+ years of experience working with kids (0-18) and adults with adaptive needs. I believe in learning through play and my goal when working with all individuals with physical or cognitive needs is to help them be as independent as possible. I have experience as a peer mentor/buddy, swim instructor, adaptive physical educator, caregiver, and behavior therapy. I fell in love with working with kids with special needs when I was five and I met a boy in my class with Autism. I've worked with an array of special needs diagnoses including autism, global delay syndrome, Rhett's syndrome, Down's syndrome, intellectual disabilities and deaf/blind.
