About Savannah

I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, warm, and social. I like working with kids because it is an incredible opportunity to support families and communities. I'm looking for a job that is consistent with a child or family with the opportunity for caregiving, but also SEL and educational learning. I started working with kids by babysitting at age 14. I then transitioned into retail at an independent toy store. One thing you should know about me is I believe that caregiving goes far beyond the expectations of "babysitting," I think it is incredibly important to fully engage a child. I believe caregivers are the best when they build relationships with the family. My skills include developmentally appropriate activities, an emphasis on outdoor and movement-based play, and limitless patience based on my years as an English teacher.
