NO LONGER AVAILABLE I'm a former preschool teacher turned professional nanny! I have an AZ state fingerprint clearance card, CPR/first aide certification and lots of additional ECE training. I have worked with children infancy - age 7 of all backgrounds and abilities. I have been lucky to work with families long term as they grow from single child families to multiple children. I use a child-led, play based curriculum and the respectful caregiving philosophy (RIE method). I design developmentally appropriate lesson plans and keep daily records. My strength as a caregiver is my patience. My love for creative activities and the imagination of a child are some of the reasons I love working with children. I studied Linguistics at the university of Arizona with a focus on language development and socio/behavioral linguistics. Savannah was a blessing in disguise. During the pandemic we needed someone we could trust to come into our home and be as mindful about all the precautions as we were. She keeps our daughter entertained, educated and structured. Not only does she do schoolwork with our daughter, she has taught her sign language and how to sew. They do crafts, imagination play and when it's not too hot they go swimming or outside to play. You won't be disappointed if you hire her.
