About Savanah

I'm an early childhood special education teacher, looking for a little something to do this summer. I enjoy every part of my job! I'm well versed in child development, regulation strategies, sensory needs, and trauma informed teaching! I'd describe my personality as friendly, empathetic, and passionate! I started working with kids almost 10 years ago. I tutored in high school at a Boys and Girls Club. In college, I worked at a YMCA in a daycare as an assistant teacher. I then also worked as an after school teacher and summer care program lead. Currently, I'm an early childhood special education teacher! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband and dog! We enjoy being outdoors! And a little shopping! One thing you should know about me is I'm kind and understanding! As well as flexible, I can work around schedules if it is needed! My skills include bachelors degree in early childhood education and special education and trained in trauma informed practices!
