Hi, My name is Sarawan. I am a college-educated student with a total of 6 years of experience in childcare services. Back in Thailand, I worked part-time as a teacher and nanny at a nursery. Was an Au pair in the US, I have had experience caring for a newborn infant and a child in elementary school. I was a nanny in NYC as well and now I'm a nanny share in Chicago who taking care of 2 girls since they were 3 months old until present (18 months old). I have a B. S. in Sports Science and as part of my degree, I completed mandatory training in first aid care and CPR. Working with children has taught me what it means to be disciplined and responsible. Sarawan (Mata) has been a part of our family since August, 2020. She joined us to be a nanny for our then 4 month old daughter and occasionally watched our older, 4 year old daughter when she wasn't in school. Mata started as our nanny in the midst of the pandemic and has always been extremely conscientious about health safety while still finding ways to be outdoors and/or do activities with the baby. It is clear through her caring, gentle, and patient ways that she has deep experience in taking care of children, particularly infants, and our daughters have grown so fond of her as a result. Mata has always been on time or given us notice if she was running late due to transportation, she has provided us with ample notice when wishing to use vacation days, and she has diligently attended to the light household chores we agreed to at the start of her employment with us. I am immensely grateful that we found Mata here and we will miss her dearly when our time together ends.
