I absolutely adore special needs children. I have two sisters who were born with a rare defect called schizencephaly. They were twins, both blind and unable to be fed by mouth. They both have feeding tubes, one has seizures, and the other has diabetes. They received in-home physical therapy when we lived in a different state, so I also have had a chance to watch that, which gives me some very limited experience.
