Dear potential family, I absolutely love what I do and would love the opportunity to share my passion with a family! My ideal scenario would be to provide care three 12-hour days per week, with preference to being in my home. I'm open to other dynamics, however, find children are typically more relaxed and present in spaced they don't associate with mom & dad. I recently finished building a home off the water and feel it would be such a fun space to play outdoors. My focus is on the "right" family connection vs the perfect location. Should we be closer to the 1hr mark apart, my suggestion would be to meet 30 min in the middle on a Tuesday morning and meet back up Thursday night. I'm happy to offer overnight care for free if it's connecting two 12 hr days. I find it's a lovely way to feel more like they're going to camp vs parents are going to work! We lived in Denver for a little over a year, and Sara kept our kids for us in her home overnight one Saturday a month (aged 2 and 4), as well as caring for my 2 year old daughter once a week. I cannot say enough good things about Sara! She planned fun activities, and my kids always came home with stories of their adventures, crafts, and treasures. One winter weekend she put plastic down in her living room, put down a kiddie pool, turned up the heat, and hosted a Hawaiian-themed day with my kids, complete with floating toys, crafts, and pizzas with pineapple on them. Sara even took our kids camping overnight once. She is responsible, dependable, firm, consistent, cheerful, creative, smart and energetic.
