About Sara

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, patient, and creative, I like working with kids because the see the world through a fresh lens. They are learning how to exist which makes them curious, engaged, and so excited. I love being a part of and contributing towards that experience. I'm looking for a job that helps me to make a difference in other people's lives. I started working with kids when I was a kid. I am the oldest in a single parent family and have many younger siblings who I helped to raise. As we got older, I transitioned to babysitting/nannying the children of family friends. In my spare time, I like to spend time in nature, be creative with any medium I can get my hands on, read, and learn. One thing you should know about me is I am a certified advanced EMT/firefighter. My skills include emergency pediatric medicine/trauma care, gentle child rearing, and activity/meal organization and management.
