About Sara

I taught preschool-aged children for more than 10 years in the South Orange/Maplewood area and held administrative roles as Director of Communications and Family Relations. After my tenure in early education, I began working in special education with medically fragile students with disabilities, ages 3-21. Through clinical experience, I have worked with both children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, OCD, and various mental health issues. I am trained in CPR and basic first aid, as well as extensive training in child development, health sciences, early intervention, and working with challenging behaviors. I'm excited to share my skills and experience with children and adults, and make an impact on their physical, emotional, and social development.
