I have always enjoyed working with children whether it was as a Case Manager for autistic children, Infant Care Giver at an orphanage, or Infant/Toddler Teacher at a daycare. I have over 25 years of experience working with children and 9 of those years have been as a Professional Nanny. Continuing education is a priority in my career as a Nanny which has included Montessori In Home Training and the RIE Nurturing Nanny Course. I've also worked for a couple families that introduced me to the Waldorf/Steiner philosophy. I am looking for a part time position for fall 2024 with a family that values these approaches as well as literature, music, limited/no screen time, emotional intelligence, independent play, and time spent in nature. One of the job benefits I am seeking is the ability to bring my three and a half year old with me which provides a great opportunity for socialization. We enjoy singing & playing music, reading, water play, nature walks and going to the park.

I am Sarah's current employer (she nannies for our 18-month old daughter, M.). The family in Ohio who ends up with this wonderful woman in their home is very, very lucky. As a busy, dual-professional couple who travel frequently with no family in town, we needed a responsible, "third parent" on our team. Sarah is that person. In addition to being incredibly trustworthy and loyal, she is kind, caring, and patient. She plans play dates, daily outings, craft projects, and takes M. to a variety of scheduled classes and activities. Our daughter adores her; we adore her. She will be missed.
