About Sarah

At 14, my science teacher offered me my first job due to trusting my responsible and mature demeanor. When I have the opportunity to make the children I watch feel safe to be themselves and explore their youth, it brightens my day. I would describe myself as patient, grounded, creative, responsible, fun, and approachable. I fuse a compassionate approach of communicating, trying to make the child feel seen and understood while maintaining appropriate boundaries around any issues that arise. My four years of experience have taught me the importance of communication with parents and confidence in my ability to keep any child safe. I enjoy the outdoors, sports, board games, arts and crafts, along with creative play with children. I have a valid drivers license as well as reliable transportation. I have some college education and CPR training. I'm also available to assist with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, homework/tutoring, travel, and swimming supervision.
