I'm a third-year law student looking to make extra money during my downtime by doing what I love most. I have had two previous caregiving positions. My first experience included daily and overnight care for a close family friend's grandmother who suffered from severe dementia and Alzheimer's. My daily tasks involved preparing food and medication, assisting in feeding and hygiene such as bathing, and light housework, while also providing friendly company to chat, watch TV, and play cards with. My second experience included daily and overnight care for someone who was diagnosed with severe MS. I was responsible for the morning and nighttime routine (hygiene, light exercise, dressing, transferring to and from wheelchair, using a lift, and medication). I also prepared lunch and cared for the house pets. I understand the amount of trust it takes to let someone else care for your loved ones, so I am open to in-person/FaceTime interviews, and I have references available if needed.
