Hi! My name is Sarah, and I am a Senior in college at the University of Arizona majoring in Psychology and double minoring in Family Studies and Human Development and Business. I have been babysitting for four years, and had plenty of experience with kids in other roles. I swam all of high school and have leveraged this experience to coach as a swim instructor for children of all ages with many of these children having different physical/mental capacities and abilities, and varying places on the spectrum. In college, I have worked as a Peer Mentor helping middle school age students navigate life and various mental, social, or emotional issues. I love children and can ensure they are entertained, as well as homework help, meal prep, dishes, laundry, tidying, etc. My rates vary between $18-22/hr depending on the age and number of children! Sarah seemed qualified and engaged during our initial phone conversation, and we scheduled an in-person interview after her spring break. She proactively reached out to follow up, which showed responsibility and interest. However, at that time, she informed us that she charges $18 for in-person interviews. While we respect her time, we were not comfortable with this practice and chose to decline. Parents should be aware of this policy when considering her services.
