About Sarah

I am a certified elementary school teacher. I currently am a third grade teacher. I specifically enjoy teaching students to read but I am familiar with all other core subjects. I'd describe my personality as confident, caring, and hard working. I like tutoring because it allows students the opportunity to become successful in subjects they may struggle with on a day to day basis. Tutoring takes the pressure off of the students to preform in front of their peers and specifically allows the student to learn at their own pace and individual level. I started tutoring when on and off ever since I began working in an elementary school roughly eight years ago. My skills include phonemic awareness and decoding skills allowing students to increase their confidence and ability in reading. Math computation and problem solving.
