About Sarah

I am a caregiver with 7 years experience. I have worked with in-home health care and have worked in a group setting with adults having physical and mental disabilities. My services include: bathing, grooming, medication reminders, meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments and companionship. My operating philosophy is that all people deserve to be treated with dignity despite any physical or mental disabilities. I create an environment that fosters trust and comfort. I want my clients and their families to know that they are seen, understood, and valued. I do this through attentive listening, creative engagement (memory games, artwork, music, and writing), and meeting them where they are at any given moment. I am passionate about working with the elderly and those who suffer with dementia. I believe that the essence of the person is still within them and can be accessed through compassionate and creative care.
