I have many years of experience providing childcare to an array of ages in different capacities. I'm a mother of 3 grown children and a grandmother. I was a gymnastics coach for close to 30 years and provided lessons to children of all ages and children with special needs. Through coaching I began working as a nanny privately for families, the youngest age being six months to the oldest of 15. I currently am working for the Adams County School System in their transportation department where I oversee the care of large groups of children and assist in the safety precautions for children who need special accommodations related to disabilities. I have a background in housekeeping and elderly care as well, enjoy meal preparation, have a safe and reliable vehicle, as CPR and first aid certified, fully vaccinated for Covid, and have undergone extensive background checks to work with children for the school system.

Friendly, pleasant at the interview and punctual. Does not always follow instructions, constantly changing the schedule, rather than just occasionally. Fails to consult with the legal guardian even though we disclosed the client has short-term memory issues and fails to try to figure things out, by calling the medical providers. Complains about the pay that she accepted and the terms, adding stress to the client rather than addressing it with the legal guardian who could have helped resolve the issues. Appears to think that being trained means she is being micro-managed. Failing to understand that personal care is very unique and not two people are the same.
