I am originally from Western Mass and after seven years away, I moved back for a position working for the Connecticut DCF Wilderness School in the field of outdoor education, a role in which I provide instruction, care, and interpersonal counseling to youth ages 13-17. Previously to this work, I have been regularly employed as a babysitter and tutor with families since 2015 and have enjoyed work in multiple educational settings as an aftercare and assistant teacher. With the help of this experience, I promise to be a consistent, calm, and engaged caregiver for your child or children. Sarah does an excellent job of engaging with children of all ages. My two boys love her and think that she is very fun. She is good at getting them to do quiet activities and to play outside and get their energy out. Sarah also prepares healthy meals for the children. Sarah follows instructions well and could easily work in a variety of family settings.
