Hello! My name is Sarah. Come this fall, I am going to be a junior in the nursing program at Simmons College. I am a commuter student, so I am home year-round and available before / after my classes. I am CPR & first-aid certified. My cousin is a 13-year-old teen with autism. I have worked with him since he was quite young, accompanying him in camps he has wanted to do (special needs soccer camp, another camp in our town). I have been his primary babysitter for years now, so I am very familiar with the autism spectrum. Like I said previously, I have also worked as a counselor at a special needs soccer camp so I have experience with others with varying delays (cognitive, social, physical) and other special needs. I hope to one day work in pediatrics as a nurse, since I love working with kids and have been around my cousin my whole life who I love so much. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
