Hi, I'm Sarah! I'm 25 years old and have a bachelor's degree from UNC Wilmington in elementary education & early childhood education. I am relocating to the Raleigh/Durham area from Wilmington at the end of June to attend graduate school for speech-language pathology! My first year of classes will be online (beginning August 2021). I have worked as a lead teacher in a few different preschools (ages 0-5) with up to 25 children per classroom, and working with children is definitely my passion! I was previously a nanny to a family in Wilmington with 2 young children, ages 3 & 6, for about a year and half. I am currently seeking another full-time nanny position while attending school online. I am CPR/SIDS/pediatric first aid certified, do not smoke, and have my own car with room for 2 car seats in the back. I cannot say enough positive things about Sarah. She took care of my 2 toddlers for the past 1.5 years and we are sad she is moving away. Sarah was my laundry fairy, she emptied my dishwasher every morning, she kept the kid's rooms tidy. They spent 80% of their day outside playing ( at the park, the pool, the beach). She was responsible for feeding them all 3 meals, often including a picnic. She adapted with COVID and helped my son with his kindergarten work and kept my kids in a safe bubble. She is a calming presence and managed their tirades with patience and grace. My crazy puppies also adored her. Sarah was punctual and reliable and we already miss her.
