I have experience working with special needs children ages K-6 as well as current experience working with preschool age children with special needs. I have 2. 5 years of experience as an educator at a Reggio Emilia inspired center. I currently hold a Child Development Master Teacher Permit. I'm an early childhood education graduate. My focus is children with exceptional needs, but I also hold certificates in language & literacy development and infant/toddler care. I believe that children learn by DOING; moving, playing, dancing, and creating. I love process art, sensory play, and outdoor activities... don't worry, we'll clean up after! I have lesson plans that can be adapted to a home environment. I would love the opportunity to work with 1 child or a small group of children to give them personalized attention and support. I am a native English speaker, beginner's level skills in ASL, Spanish, and French. I am willing to learn more languages.
