About Sarah

Hi there! My name is Sarah and I am currently getting my Masters in Social Work at Pitt. I am an experienced babysitter and have 13+ years of childcare experience. I am seeking temporary/flexible childcare positions. I started working with kids when I was 12. I worked as a babysitter for several families. I worked for my synagogue's childcare center for many years, starting when I was 13. Since then, I have worked in various babysitting and daycare roles :) In my spare time, I like to do yoga, take walks, play with my 2 cats, and read! One thing you should know about me is that I am a mental health provider, and that my educational/professional work influences my childcare philosophy. I believe that it is never too early to model and teach healthy emotional coping mechanisms to children, as well as validate their emotions. My skills include infant care (diapering, formula/heating breastmilk, burping, tummy time, etc), screen-free activity scheduling, and arts and crafts.
