About Sarah

Hi, I am a graduate student at the University of Maryland researching Psychology and Neuroscience. I obtained my undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University where I majored in Psychology and minored in Neuroscience. During my time at university, I joined the teaching scholars program and tutored students in neuroscience for two years. This included hosting exam reviews, scheduling regular office hours, and providing career advice. I was also an online college algebra tutor, which included going over student's homework problems and creating exam review guides. And I have worked with younger children through the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Program. For the past two years, I have worked at the National Institute of Health as a research assistant, furthering my knowledge in neuroscience. Overall, I have extensive knowledge of science in the classroom and the lab and have tutored people of all ages.
