About Sarah

I am a full-time web & graphic designer. I'm looking for a job where I can assist a family with a tricky night of the week, a recurring date or errand night, or help drive the kids to/from school during the week. I started working with kids in 2017 during an internship with the outdoor ed. center, Hitchcock Center for the Environment in Amherst, MA. I was a teaching assistant for a few classes including nature-play, winter-break camp, & a 10 week geology course that I helped develop. During this time I was also a bi-weekly babysitter for a family with a 4-year-old boy. I love becoming completely engrossed in an activity with a child and moving at their pace. In my spare time, I like to hike, play storytelling games, wheel-throw ceramics, paint and exercise. I'd love to incorporate nature-play and arts & crafts into my child care.
