My greatest passion in life is working with individuals with disabilities. I have a lot of experience working with special needs from babysitting a young woman with down syndrome. I also work summers at a summer camp for children and adults with special needs called Camp Blessing. I am currently a junior at Dallas Baptist University studying children's ministry with a focus in special needs and am launching a special needs ministry at my church, First Baptist Church of Irving. I fully believe when I met someone with a disability I am looking into the face of Christ. They are precious, and beautiful and holy and I am truly honored that God allows me to befriend these individuals. They teach me more than I could ever possibly hope to teach them.
