Hi there! My name is Sarah and I currently live in Mount Juliet, TN with my husband and 4-year-old chocolate labrador! While I currently am a full time student pursuing my nurse practitioner degree, I am home for the summer and am willing to help your family with most if not all special needs care! In regards to my past experience, I have worked with two special needs children. Most notably, I worked with a family in Massachusetts for many years which included providing care for their nonverbal son who has autism and epilepsy. My day to day activities included taking him out into the community such, or to visit family and friends. I was also responsible for prepping his snacks, meals, and even aiding the family with household management. Then during my senior year of my undergraduate degree, I worked with a 5-year-old autistic child for after school help with homework! We even managed to obtain some outdoor play time into our days!
