About Sarah

Hi my name is Sarah, an elementary teacher with 4 years of experience and a passion for helping kids grow and learn. In addition to my teaching career, I've spent the past 8 years working with elementary-aged campers at a summer camp, where I've had the opportunity to build strong relationships with children and guide them through fun, educational experiences. I specialize in math and science instruction and love making these subjects engaging and fun. My approach includes incorporating creative activities and hands-on crafts to help kids grasp difficult concepts while enjoying the learning process. I am returning to northern Virginia after taking some time off to travel the country with my pup, so I am easing back into the childcare world with a renewed sense of passion and purpose. Helping children learn and empower themselves to be free thinkers, embrace curiosity and build their confidence.
