About Sarah

Hi, I'm Sarah! I hold a BA in Music Education and I am currently a teacher at The Garden Montessori in Pinehurst. I work with children between ages 3-6 but also have professional experience working with older children through high school level. Growing up as the oldest sibling in my family, I learned from a young age how to be a nurturing, mature, and responsible caregiver. I've always been someone who has filled the role of caring for others. I believe creating strong bonds with little ones is especially important when it comes to their learning, how they respond to you, building trust, and their overall sense of feeling safe and having fun. I love dance parties, arts and crafts, playing games, teaching kid's yoga/mindfulness, going on nature walks, and making yummy food. Can't wait to meet you!
