My name is Sarah, I have over 12 years of experience in paid child care and 9 years of nannying. I have cared for children aged from newborn to 12 years old. Working with children brings me joy because I enjoy watching them learn and grow through each developmental stage. I was a preschool director for two years at my home church, caring for up to 120 children aged 2-5 on Sundays, managing adult volunteers, and creating curriculum for services. I'm also an animal lover and comfortable with pets. I have a cat of my own who is energetic and loves attention. I recently graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies in Elementary Education from Western Governors University. My husband is in the Navy, so the military brought us to WA. As a teacher, my current work schedule in Anacortes allows me to be available the whole summer. I'm happy to help with childcare needs during the summer break!

Sarah is an absolutely amazing nanny! She is the first person I trusted my little one with outside of our family, and she made everything so easy and comfortable. After only a week or two my son smiled when she showed up, even at only 3 and a half months old. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone, with kids of any age. She was only with us a few months because of military moves, but we wouldn't have hesitated to work with her much much longer. If you're looking for someone dependable, kind, and great with kids she is definitely what you're looking for.
