I am a graduate of UC Santa Cruz where I earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology and the end of 2020. I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old and I have spent 3 years working in outdoor education with a Santa Cruz based program. Utilizing emergent learning, I led large groups of students through natural spaces in Santa Cruz. We focused on nature based play, story telling, and problem solving whilst practicing nonviolent communication. In January of 2022, I began substitute teaching in Santa Cruz County. I have spent the past two years as a substitute teacher , working primarily with elementary aged students and frequently in SPED positions. I love spending my free time hiking outside, crocheting, water coloring, or reading a book :) hourly rate is currently $20-28/hr depending on number of children

Sarah was an absolute joy to have as our babysitter for our two kids. She was punctual every day, brought fun games to play and even art supplies for art projects. Her bright and bubbly attitude brought so much happiness to our home and our kids were always excited to see her. We had to change our kids school schedule or she would still be coming two days a week, but hopefully she will find another great family to work with. If we could make our schedules work again I would definitely rehire her. She's wonderful and amazing and we miss her so much!
