About Sarah

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, friendly, and open. I like tutoring because I struggled in school as a kid, and I know if someone was there to help me and care about me, I could've excelled. I want to provide that for students now and make a difference. I am passionate about helping students feel more confident with their knowledge and skills. I'm looking for a job that allows for a flexible schedule and offers consistency. I started tutoring as a sophomore in high school. I was a part of an afterschool math tutoring program led by one of my teachers. One thing you should know about me is that I greatly value the safety and comfort of the students I tutor. I am a Junior at Truman State University, and I am studying Agricultural Science with a focus in education. My skills include effective studying, listening, and understanding.
