I have been teaching and looking after children since 2013, when I was a child myself, helping my mum out in the family Business StagePlay, theater and arts classes and camps for children based in Alexandria, VA. Since then, I have run my own programming at StagePlay, and outside of this, babysat for children age 1 to 12. Since I was a baby, growing up with structured, collaborative artistic play gave me a lasting appreciation for making time to get weird, creative, and maybe a little messy in a persons life from childhood to beyond. At Bennington College, I learned from the best who appreciated making this time professionally.
