About Sarah

A current substitute teacher, I have an honors bachelors degree in English and Classics and am enrolled in a teaching credential program. I am Red Cross CPR and First Aid certified! I started tutoring when I was in high school. I continued in college through our campus tutoring center. I also consistently tutored a student virtually in Math and Latin. I'd describe my personality as kind, enthusiastic, and compassionate! I like tutoring because it allows a student to grow in academic confidence and resilience. We all have subjects that are tougher than others, but extra time dedicated to a subject truly improves comprehension! I also like to make learning fun! I'm looking for a job that helps other people! My skills include test prep, memorization techniques, and positive encouragement.
