Hello! I know how hard it can be, looking for reliable, loving care for your little ones. I'm a mom of three myself, and, while they're older now, it feels like yesterday that they were newborns and babies and toddlers and little kids, and I was constantly scrambling for childcare. So many people helped me back in the day, and I'd love to help you out this summer, if I can! I'm a college professor by trade (I have a lot of books, to say the least), but I'm available this summer to hang out with your kiddos on a regular or occasional basis. I have a minivan, know all the coolest kid-friendly spots in town, and am highly skilled in babywearing, getting kids to sleep, cloth or disposable diapering, baby-led weaning, and all the secrets to happy babies. I also love taking care of new moms, so if you're frazzled and need someone to take the baby so you can shower, and tuck you into bed for a nap while I clean up a bit, I'm your girl. Sarah quickly got along with my toddler, was fun and willing to troubleshoot the random tantrum. She came on time and picked up after herself and treated my child as if it was her own. It gave me peace of mind that she was a mom: she did things like keep the poisonous nail polish away and push for the helmet on the bike ride even with heavy resistance from my toddler. I would definitely hire her again, and was lucky to find her.
