About Sarah

After 28 years working in public education, I retired in order to have a more flexible schedule that accommodated my family's needs. I love working with kids so became a registered behavior technician (RBT). I'd describe my personality as kind, honest, and funny. I like tutoring because it allows me to continue my love of teaching and working with children of all ages. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, 2 cats, and one dog, Some of our favorite activities are nature, thrifting, arts/crafts, trying out new restaurants, and watching Netflix. One thing you should know about me is while I may be "more mature" than others, I am young at heart (yet still responsible and professional). Not to sound full of myself, but students/kids feel comfortable around me and like to work with me. My skills include reading, English (grammar and writing), and study skills. My counseling degree and experience allow me to "work in" social skills and emotional regulation as a bonus.
