About Sarah

I began working with children when I was 22 years old. I cared for a friend's child so she could get back to work. From there I became a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) through the Department of Human Services (DHS) while I was completing my undergrad. I also worked as a nanny and did babysitting for families that no longer needed full-time care. After I graduated I began working in special education through the public school systems. During grad school I worked for two years as a school-based social worker. I also have experience working at an inpatient psychiatric facility for youth and at the community level providing in-home mental health services for children and their families. In my spare time, I like to hangout with my family and friends. We usually hangout with our fur babies and visit we each other but we also go to sporting events or do seasonal activities. I love spending time outside but also enjoy indoor activities like crafts and games.
