I am a middle school orchestra teacher of 5 years and have worked countless hours with children and adults of all ages and abilities. I also worked as a full-time nanny in Ann Arbor in 2016 and have done many weeks of camp counseling over the years. I grew up with dogs and other pets and frequently dog sit for my brother's two lovable Rhodesian Ridgebacks. I am friendly, caring and energetic and love running, music, outdoor activities and reading. I am taking a one year sabbatical from teaching orchestra full time in order to work on creative projects and further develop my musical skills. I am available for part time work during the 2021-22 school year. *I wear a mask in public spaces and am happy to get COVID tests weekly*

Sarah has been my son's violin teacher for several years. She is amazing with him and knows just how to motivate and reach him. He often walks into the lesson in a grumpy mood and always comes out beaming and excited. She is a wonderful motivator. He has made great progress with her help. Sarah has a perfect touch with kids, a great mix of fun, kindness, but she also projects authority. We will be very sad when she moves away.
