About Sarah

Sarah is a certified special educator in the state of Maryland with approximately 5 years of teaching experience. Prior to that, Sarah worked in various educational support roles from ABA therapist, RBT, and paraeducator in the school setting. Over all, Sarah has over 10 years of experience in special education and has worked with Sarah is neurodivergent and has a unique understanding of the neurodivergent experience. She specializes in autism, ADHD, executive dysfunction, hyperlexia, twice exceptionality, emotional disability, trauma-informed care, reading and writing tutoring, and creating a safe therapeutic relationship with students with the goal of helping them find learning fun again. She believes in child-led instruction and strongly values autonomy. Sarah offers both remediation and a strengths-based approach depending on the needs and preferences of students.
