About Sarah

Hello! I am an experienced nanny and babysitter who loves caring for little ones, seeing them discover the world and grow into their vibrant individual selves! I started as a mother's helper when I was 13 (crazy) and babysat and nannied infants and kids through college. I took a break to focus on my career in journalism and documentary film, but am looking to jump back into childcare while I'm between freelance jobs. I'm also training to be a birth and post-part I'm doula! Last year, I spent 5 months living with some close friends and caring for their infant. They are happy to provide a reference. Additional services: I have a masters degree from Columbia and can also help with tutoring, especially in writing. I'm also a huge animal lover (I have two kittens of my own) and a pretty decent cook. I'm experienced in supporting queer and non-traditional family structures. Can't wait to hear from you!
