I am a DESE certified substitute teacher and Elementary Literacy Teaching Assistant. I currently work part time for the Lindbergh School District as an LTA for grades K-3 but also have experience working in the nurse's office and as a Math Teaching Assistant. My part time schedule allows me to offer tutoring in reading after 1:00 p.m. Monday-Friday during the school year. My availability increases over the summer months. I believe that making learning fun and engaging leads to progress. I incorporate a variety of fun manipulatives to help children improve phonemic awareness, phonics skills, writing and comprehension. I always make sure to celebrate every small win to build confidence and adherance.
