About Sarah

Hello! My one-time babysitting availability is the same as my recurring availability! My name is Sarah and I am excited to get to know you and your family! I have 10+ years of experience in the childcare field as a babysitter, nanny, and preschool teacher. I earned my bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development from Point Loma Nazarene and am beginning my master's at Northern Arizona University for Communication Sciences and Disorders. It's my goal to become a Speech and Language Pathologist. I've worked with children of all ages and have the most expertise in caring for newborns - 6 years old. I value my education and experience as a preschool teacher as I've learned how to develop children's social-emotional skills and help them de-escalate and redirect behaviors. I follow a positive discipline approach, encouraging children to explore while maintaining boundaries and setting expectations!
