I have experience working with an autistic child. I worked with an 8-year-old boy who has autism. He is severely autistic, so I helped him learn basic skills such as brushing his teeth and washing his hands. I also helped him with some of his schoolwork. He was non-verbal, so he used pictures to show us what he wanted. I enjoy working with children who have autism and other special needs. I like helping them, and I like the feeling of knowing that I am making a difference.
